Building Manuals

RTA collates and produces Building Manuals, Health and Safety Files, Building Log Books and Resident User Guides.

Our service includes the following elements:

  • Collation of O&M manuals, including all communication with sub-contractors and design teams
  • Production of the Health and Safety File in accordance with the CDM Regulations 2007
  • Production of Building Log Book (as required)
  • Production of Building User Guide (as required)
  • Production of fully branded and indexed hard copy files
  • clickbm manual (hyperlinked, web-hosted electronic manual)
  • Website hosting for 1 year post practical completion
  • Regular detailed status reports to project teams

Our aim is to reduce the pressure on the principal contractor, by assuming responsibility for the collation of all operating and maintenance information and ensuring that manuals are always available at practical completion.

clickbm, our award winning online service, is a web-hosted building information system that operates in the same way as a website. As clickbm can be viewed using any standard internet browser, data is available and accessible at any time, via any media with an active internet connection.

The format enables easy navigation of and access to important information required for the safe and efficient running and maintenance of buildings post construction.

In addition clickbm can be set up at project commencement and used throughout the project as an effective project management tool. Information is uploaded throughout the project which enables easy access to the client, consultants and project team for the purposes of tracking documentation and project reviews.

clickbm provides an environmental solution for storing and archiving the extensive documentation associated with construction projects. It is also possible to incorporate historic or future records into a clickbm model to create a single comprehensive information resource for the building.
